Biography

Since starting in this role, I’ve genuinely loved the opportunity to meet new people and build meaningful relationships with my patients. The most fulfilling part of my job is seeing the difference rehabilitation can make in someone’s everyday life — whether that’s hearing a patient say they played their first game of football again, managed the stairs without crutches, or finally got a pain-free night’s sleep. Being able to support people through those milestones is what makes this role so rewarding to me.

I’m a Charted MSK Physiotherapist, graduating with a BSc Honours in Physiotherapy from Queen Margaret University. Alongside my degree, I’ve completed additional training in sports massage, hydrotherapy, and taping, which I’ve been able to apply in both clinical practice and while working with a Scottish Rugby Union team during my studies. I particularly enjoy incorporating hydrotherapy into rehabilitation programmes and seeing the confidence it can give patients throughout their recovery journey.

Outside of work, I like to keep busy as I rarely sit still for long. If I’m not at the gym (mainly for the swim and sauna afterwards), you’ll probably find me playing tennis (badly) or walking around the New Forest trying to pet a pony. A fun fact about me is that I grew up on a farm in Ireland — so trust me, I’ve definitely smelt worse things than feet after a long day at work.

My go-to drink is a strong cup of tea with milk and a biccy of course, and my ideal Sunday involves watching Formula 1 with a homemade roast dinner.
